We have made some significant changes to our operations to protect staff and clients from the COVID 19 disease.

  • We now operate a semi-virtual office- All staff work partly from home. Meetings are conducted via zoom.

​

  • ISRD has facilitated for all staff to take an online course on the Basics of COVID 19, Safety Protocols and Safety communication & Community Sensitization to equip them to protect themselves and reach out  to our clients with the right information.

​

  • We have virtualize our contacts with communities and clients by providing information/education via VOICE SMS using the AgriCaller Platform. Thus, routine community visits have been reduced.

​

  • We provide updates and safety tips on COVID 19 to all profiled clients via VOICE SMS on weekly basis.

​

  • ISRD has also provided Hand washing kits to some selected Health Facilities in Wa West District to support the COVID 19 fight.
